After struggling with beetle 4 cylinder engine trying to make it big and powerful enough (see Speedy's std -63), Speedy discovered that 4 cylinders is not enough. Porsche 911 offers 6 cylinders in the same spirit as Ferdinand's earlier 4 cylinder boxer. In addition, Speedy's uncle has raced these back in the 70's, so this is not a surprising step in Speedy's hobby of aircooled "Ferdinands".
